I'll bet it's a scam. They say they're from a certain jail then ask for credit card information toto pay for a call.

Just got a call from that number; I missed it though.

I had two calls this morning saying that an inmate from Clayton County Detention Center wanted to speak to me and the call would be free, but that if i wanted to extend the call it would cost $14.99. I hung up - twice. Scammers.

we don't have caller id where i work, but this number was left in a message to call back about services. I think the automessage started playing when the machine picked up. All i got was the tall end with this number and a website www.securist-something

This # came up as a missed call. Called the # and it said some Correctional Facility I don't know where? But its some locked up scam artist.

I called the number using my home phone and the recording said it is an inmate from a correctional facility. Must b a collect call. Do not answer it but how do I get them to stop. Have called me 3-5 times a day for the past 4 days.

get this call everyday nd at different times, always leave message, but I only catch part of it , 19.99 or something before I delete it. who do we report it too, and how do we get them to stop!?

Received partial message on my voicemail saying "...by accepting a charge to your mobile telephone bill of $9.99, please press 2. If you would like to set up or add funds to a prepaid advanced connect account in order to pay for future calls, please press 3." This is the second time today they have called. Have now put the number on my Verizon blocked numbers list. I know of no one who would be calling me from prison, so this has to be a scam of some kind.

I just called my phone company and am having the called blocked. The only thing is it will only b blocked for three months so hopefully in that time they get the hint.
