message I just got for 877 710 3334 said San Jacinto jail but I did not follow through on call as I don't know anybody in that area.877 is a toll free number that does not have a geographical location.San Jacinto is in California

I got the call to accept charges from Wake County Detention Center..of course, I hung up...

I have a friend in the Polk County Jail (Des Moines, Iowa). Multiple phone lines/numbers are available there. His calls don't always originate from the same number. I suspect 877-710-3334 is one of these.

The call is real, or was for me. the caller gave a recorded name, the jail was identified, and they asked for $14.99 to complete the call. I hung up without paying, called the jail, got the info, picked up the person who called and all was well.

Ignore her, or you will end up incarcerated also!

Right?! Lol this is what I used to talk to my mom while I was in jail in wise & Tarrant co last 2 weeks

Caller states I owe $9.99 for a call I did not make. Has called at least 5 times.

02.18.17:So far I received two calls (last night) from this phone number, 877-710-3334. I did NOT AMSWER. I called the number er back and an automated message was delivered stating I had reached COUNTY JAIL INMATE (no inmate name was provided me) and that the COUNTY JAIL needed my CC# to apply charges of $15.00 due to inmates calls. I called the phone number back and received an automated voice message again stating I had reached the COUNTY JAIL ... NOT EVEN A CITY or STATE PROVIDED . I KNEW THEN THIS WAS VERY LIKELY A SCAMMER out for MONEY.This has to be a SCAMMER OPERATION.I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY CC INFO or ANY OTHER PERSONAL INFO TO THIS NUMBER/CALLER.THIS CALL TOO HAD ME CONCERNED FOR SOMEONE I MIGHT POSSIBLY KNOW WHO LANDED IN JAIL AND NEEDED MY HELP. I ABSOLUTELY NO LONGER BELIEVE THIS IS THE CASE!!!BLOCK 877-710-3334: I SAY SPAMMERS AT WORK FOR YOUR MONEY. BEWARE!!!

First call, I answered. Heard a recording and hung up. The calls continued. I rejected the calls time and again, without answering. I finally had to turn my phone off.
