Received a call from 816-936-3000 saying they needed to talk to me about my recent application. I could not make out his name. Sounded like someone from India. I was told the caller would be available for the next 21 minutes. I can call him at 877-772-4309 Ex. 35122. If I don't call back by then, I can call back in the morning. THIS WAS SUNDAY at 12:30PM! I did a reverse check and number came up as the SS office in Kansas. 4 hours later I did call the 877-772-4309 number. The message was from the SS Office and business hours are M-F 8-5. Think I will call my local SS office in the morning.

I received a Unknown call on Sunday 8)29/2017 and these two phone numbers were in the message...877-772-4308 and 687-777-2309. I didn't returned a call back. Very odd for SS to call on a Sunday.

Over 40 calls in the past two weeks demanding a call back over SS information. SCAM

Got called from this number--it is the Kansas City office of Social Security--someone had submitted a claim in my name with my SSN--I had not. We got it straightened out over the phone. So the number is legitimate.
