so here's what you do....answer themphone, and wait till you get a real live person. act like you're interestednand keep asking questions, but talk softer and softer....they have a headset on, and will turn up the volume so they can hear you....then blow a referee's whistle into the phone as loud as you can, then hang up....and that's the end of the calls...it's worked for me a number of times...

LOL @ the above comment. I have Fido for 5 yrs now, I just received this call for the first time today. I answered with "Hello" and he said "Hello" ..then he hung up. Oh well. Hopefully this is my last call. I see that its a common problem for many people here. I just downloaded an app to block #'s and placed it under blacklist...voila.

I called back and they give you the option to have YOUR NUMBER TAKEN OFF from their calling list. - Dial 1.877.866.9930- AUTOMATED VOICE MESSAGE - PRESS 1 if you want your number withdrawn from our calling list.*DONE*That number no longer haunts me ! woot!

yeah, I got a 2 missed call as well from this number. I just subscribed to Fido. I dont usually get a call from this area code, so I decided to check it online. and I found this, so weird. This is a issue from Fido that needs to be resolved

I actually benefited from this call. I got a call from this number last night, they said it was IOS center on behalf of Fido. I am on City Fido prepaid plan that cost's $39.97 plus tax, and they offered me to go on a regular City Fido paid plan (WITH NO CONTRACT!) WOW! for $35.00 a month so i jumped on it and I now save $4.95 plus tax a month and I get everything unlimited compared to 2000 min a month plus .35 cents for each int. text mess which I use allot for no extra cost. So I was happy with this call for a change. LOL

Yup they just called me. Seems those are offers to add to your phone bill (voice mail bla bla bla)

im with fidoo , and this number has called me everyday since i got my new phone. i think its one of those companies that call you so when u pick up, it'll take ur money

Yep, same thing with me but oddly enough I'd been with Fido pay as you go monthly for over 2 years and never once got a call from an 877 number, but now that I've gotten a contract, they've started up... Coincidence? Meh, probably not. If the calls continue though, I'm going to get pissed off and someone's head is going to roll.

we are all fido users. I got the same #$%?#$ number calling lots of times, never answered.Why can't we start a petition so that Fido won't have that irrational and idiot right to sell the number that we paid for. So me I pay 30$ to open my line, I pay a certain amount of money every month to Fido those bas#$$# and them they don't have enough money so they sell MY number to other companies without even asking me before. What is this country? Is that legal???
