These calls don't bother me. I added the caller ID to my contact list then created a 10 second silent ring tone for the contact. now it never bothers me at all. It does call from time to time but since my phone never rings I could care less.
I am with Fido as well, and i keep receiving two to three calls a day from this number it is really irritating
the company name is IOS on behalf of Fido. Answer the call, get the name of the sales rep and ask him/her to remove your number.If you dont answer their automated system will keep calling you.I then called the number back after asking her to remove me and pressed option 2 and then entered my number. It DID say my number has been removed so lets see....
This number is from Fido. They are calling about an special offer. If you want your number removed from the calling list, press 2 and enter your number when prompted. It will take up to 30 days for it to take effect.
They called me and said I won a trip because I had good credit. I told them I do not have a credit card.They then replid" You no longer qualify" Which I don't give a [***]. I just wanna know who they are,, and where they are. I will see them in hell.
This is a scam by Fido, they call you from this number if you are on Prepaid so that you pay money and you have to recharge.
Got one of those calls today, I happened to purchase a new iPhone 4S and renewed my contract with Fido yesterday! Nothing but loud music for 30 seconds when I answered, then it went dead. On call back it was Fido (recording) that said that they attempted to reach me to offer new products and that they would call me back. I don't think so. I called customer service (very professional service) and told them about the call. The nice lady said that it was the marketing department that called, to which I said “call a spade a spade, it was your harassment department, and if they call me once more I will immediately proceed to cancel my account”. She assured me that my name would be taken off the list, making sure she did not call it a marketing list. I thanked her and said that I was fully satisfied with the service that she provided. I have a feeling that I won’t be bothered again. But then again.... [***] happens!
