Called and didn't leave a message.

Any time the caller id says "Toll Free Call" I press the button on the call blocker. Same thing when I get a V followed by random numbers. It spells SCAM.

Unwanted harassing phone calls.

Silence on the line. Since the phone number is obviously spoofed, it was blocked along with all other (888) 1##-#### numbers.

just received numerous calls from this number without any messages. didn't answer as the prefix starting with "1" looked odd.so they're still harassing people from this number.DON"T ANSWER

One other surefire way is when the phone prefix begins with a 1 or a 0. NO phone number or area code in the US or Canada begins with a 0 or a 1.

Received a call from this number. Usually, I wouldn't answer, but I'm waiting for the home contractor to call me. When I answered he asked for a person by his name (it just so happens that it was the same name as my father), so I asked how I could be of assistance. He insisted on speaking to my father. I explained that he was nothe fluent in English. He proceeded by saying, that's not the right person and hung up. I have no idea what that was about.

Hello -- I received a call from a male person this afternoon at 2:10 pm. Began with silence, then sound of kids and household conversation, then "how are you today?" I asked who the person was and said "I don't know you." He launched into some sort of spiel, I said I wasn't interested and not to call again. He said I was a "B--ch" and he would be sure to call me every day. Please get rid of this rude nuisance.
