Humana+health+insurance, says they need to update your information with them. scam don't give them any info Asked me all kinds of ?'s , tried to tell them I don't have a account with them.
if this is a call that concerns a medicare-d situation. Humana and others , if you dont have them already, they CANNOT be started mid year. medicare-d signing up isn't open until in november and closes in december. unless a real special case CANNOT start mid year.
I have never received a message from Humana or any other legit agency that felt the need to block their caller ID info. All I got was the phone number but the NAME of who was calling was blocked. The way I see it, if they feel the need to block who they are, then they are not my friends and they certainly are not on the level. Be very careful when answering these types of calls.... give them NO info.
Got a call from this number this afternoon. Guy with a heavy accent claimed to be with "Windows Technical Support" or some nonsense. I didn't talk to him; my father answered the phone. After spending WAY too much time trying to figure out what the call was about, my father then went to his computer and started following the guy's instructions. Meanwhile I was googling the number and found others have gotten calls from that number claiming to be Right Source Rx. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts at directing my father's attention away from what I assume was some kind of scam/phishing attempt, I finally wrote him a short note, after which he began asking the guy who he was and what company he was with. The guy hung up. Beware.
This number is for Humana RightSource Pharmacy. They call people that have Rx coverage with Humana trying to obtain you business. All you need do is ask them to stop calling you. When I asked them to stop calling, they asked from my humana information and I said I am only asking them to stop calling. They looked up the information in the Humana computer system and completed the process at their end. There is no need to give out any personal information or humana information.
This is Right Source a mail order pharmacy. If you're on Humana or Medicare you will most likely get their calls.
That number does belong to Right Source, which is Humana's mail order pharmacy. They do call sometimes if it appears that a prescription which should have been renewed hasn't been--which can be helpful to seniors who can sometimes be prone to forget to do things in a timely fashion. If they're calling you by mistake, it may be that your number previously belonged to someone who's moved or passed away. Just tell them POLITELY that you're not a client...they'll be glad to remove your number.
If they were legitimate, they would identify themselves as something more specific than "Toll Free" . Legitimate businesses don't hide their identity. If they have actual business with you, they will leave a message with a working call-back number. If they pretend to be a real business - such as a pharmacy or bank that typically has sensitive information, you know they are phishing.
I keep getting someone calling me from this number 888-538-3518 I set my ringtone, for calls i don't know to a dog barking. This way i never answer them. Haha they are wasting their time calling me.
It is either Humana or someone trying to appear as Humana, I would guess it's Humana since I returned the call and got an automated message saying it was Humana and all representatives are busy and please hold for the next available representative. If you have a health insurance through Humana they will bug you to death with calls. I have Humana and got my 8th call this month from this number today. Some days the Humana call is from another number. They are annoying. When I complained to my Humana representative he said the calls are mandated by the government and Humana has to do it to satisfy government regulations. I didn't call him a liar but I do doubt that the government is making them call as often as they do. If it's from the Humana Right Source the best thing you can do is tell them off and hang up. I am a Humana customer and I tried Right Source and their drugs about killed me. I take Lisinopril/htcz 20/12.5 for my blood pressure. After taking the prescription from right source for 2 weeks my blood pressure started fluctuating from way low to way high. I had no energy and was constantly dizzy. My BP was fine when I took the same prescription from my local pharmacy. After A while I figured out it was the Right Source prescription and went back to my local pharmacy and my blood pressure has been great since that occurrence about 3 years ago. Beware of right source through Humana. Also if you have or get Humana be prepared for a barrage of phone calls. It may be the same way with other insurance companies but I don't know that for sure.
