Voicemail from 888-831-5717. Rebecca from RBS wants me to activate a credit card I did not order. I am so sick and tired of those identity thieves!!!
get many many calls from this number and would like calls to stop. I am on the do not call list
Unsolicited call from this number, didn't pick up. No VM left. I have a card with Citizens but it's already activated and I haven't ordered a new one. From the looks of things, this number is a total scam and no one should trust it.
Citizens bank - voice mail was left as a reminder to activate my new credit card. (all good)
I got the same as others on this post! It went into voice mail and it was Rebecca from RBS...then the message go cut off.
I also received a call form this number. Message said that is was Rebecca calling from RBS Citizens Bank and needed to activate my credit card. I do not have a credit card with them. Very tricky sounded legit at first!
Got a call from this number but no message left on machine, and Caller ID said Toll Free Call.
I just received a voicemail message from "Rebecca" from Citzens Bank about activating a credit card that we did not order or receive as well I called the number and intially the phone message asked to input the credit card number to activate it. Then, since I had no number, it did switch over to talk with a bank represenative. There was a hold "while bank representatives were taking other calls" and a notice that the call may be monitored for quality purposes. Someone came on and I explained the situation. She asked for my social security number and I refused to give it. I said that it was strange that you are not asking me to spell my name (it is frequently misspelled) and did not ask for my address. The request for my social security number without even asking for that information was a big red flag. Be careful -- I ended it by saying that I would contact Citizens Bank about it -- my local branch.
