Some people may have received phone calls from NFCU from this no., but I received a call identifying this no. as US GOVERNMENT. NFCU would never do this; someone is masking their real phone no. I concur that you should just call NFCU back if they call you.

It is not Navy Federal. It is someone pretending to be Navy Federal to get personal information out of you. If you get a call from this number, call the real Navy Fed to return the call and not the number they give you.

Not sure who this is, but they are getting on my nerves. . . . They are saying something about a membership to NFCU and unless my wife did this, I think they are just trying to get my info. And believe me, my info is special forces type stuff.

This is Navy Federal. I had a voice mail on my answering machine a few days ago about some recent credit card activity, and this is the number from which the call originated. I called Navy Federal as "Roger" suggested, and they confirmed the number is legit. Navy Federal did have a question about some recent activity on my card, and I cleared things up during the call. Always better to be safe than sorry, of course. But in this case, it really is NFCU.

I had a call from this number 1-888-842-6328 asking me to call 1-800-704-8950 about my credit card activity and called themselves Navy Federal. So I called Navy Federal at 888-842-6328 and asked them about the call. The1-888-842-6328 IS Navy Federal's number and the number I was asked to call is the credit card services numberso the call was correct. Navy Federal connected me to them and there was a question about some activity that had triggered their alert which we cleared up. So if you get a call from 1-888-842-6328 call that number and tell them ofthe call you received and they will help you get it cleared up.

I am guessing that many if not most of you have a relative/friends/child in Naval Boot Camp. I am guessing that because my fiancee called me from this number. Your recruit probably needed money for supplies.

Roger's comments are incorrect. This is Navy Federal Credit Union's credit card fraud line. If they see suspicious card activity they will call you to confirm. If you're not comfortable about receiving the call, they let you know that you can call NFCU yourself.

I called NFCU back at 888-842-6328 and the service rep saw nothing wrong with any of my accounts. She also could not find an entry in the system on why I was called. The caller id for the 888-842-6328 I received was "Marine Corp Lo."

I just received a call from this number and called NFCU. It is indeed an NFCU number, its their credit card fraud department. Said there was suspicious activity in my card, ended up being a charge at a NEX gas station :)

This is NOT NFCU! I called the bank itself, and they were having security investigate it. She said, if it was a recording, then it wasn't them. They only appoint a live persone to phone you, should any bank problems arise. It IS a scam, and you should be careful!
