Received same call from Megan Willams and called her back. States I have 3 payday loans but can’t confirm who, what or when. She then sends an email with very general information for a settlement. She has several numbers she calls from as well, 904.559.1620, 904.559.1226, 904, 807.8050 & 904.201.3521. I am reporting to anyone I can to stop this!! Everyone please do the same

Got a call today. Recording said it was from "Mediation Processing Services" "retained to process legal paperwork under your name and Social Security number. This is a very important legal matter we are processing within your state. I would advise you to contact me immediately if you want to stop the paperwork from being filed." Then gives the phone number 904 -559-1620. Clearly a phishing scam looking to get your information.

So I called them back - and they tried oh so very hard to get me to confirm my SSN and employer. I told her that #1 I have no idea who the company is that she named as my employer and #2 - that SSN isnt right at all. she seemed shocked and appalled that their info was incorrect and then she QUICKLY said "I will find out whats going on - it seems someone has your SSN and name" - I said "Yep, it seems so" and she VERY QUICKLY hung up. Sheesh.

So called mediation process services, told they have my social and my name attached to some legal matter. Told them to take my name off their list. She got snippy with me and said "no I wont take your name off the list and you can talk to the judge" what a sickening not funny joke this stuff is. The no call list needs to get techy smarter and do something. I was told when I did put in a complaint that if the number/caller was from outside the country there was nothing they could do. I am on the national no call list yet I still get these scammers and telemarketers. What do we have a no call list for if they are not going to stop these calls?

Received a voice message stating we have attempted to contact you regarding a legal matter. SCAM

Man left message on my voice mail saying he was with a legal processing firm and is going to file paperwork with my name and ssn number. Never said my name. Another scam. Don't answer any calls from this number and Never verify anything to anyone that calls. I have gotten fake calls claiming that their the IRS, had fun with that one. Had the same call from another number saying they had legal papers that they were going to file and to call them back. Had fun with them also. But if you don't know these people are scammers they will hurt you so Please don't answer or ever give out any info to anyone over the phone. These people are scum and need to be caught and sent to jail.

On July 13th received voicemail regarding a collection item and needed to return the call. Yes, I returned the call to understand the purpose. Was informed that they have been trying to reach me, even though this was my first voicemail message received. John Jameson at 904-862-2340 informed me that I owed a loan to: My Cash Now for 1,428.52 and they would settle for $636.19 to not move to legal court actions. I received a letter via email and when I requested additional information to confirm that this actually belong to me, they stated that they couldn't provide any additional information related to legal issues. So, I stated that I would be more than willing to satisfy this - once I can confirm that this is my issue. Then this John person stated that this loan was taken out back in 2015 or later years - yes that was an interesting year to provide. I knew that this was not valid, because when I changed employment, I paid all my financial obligations in December 2015, and this was not one of them and it was not listed on my Credit Report. I was advised that "everything" don't get reported on your Credit Report. Now, this was getting to be such fun exchanges. I looked up this company - Mediation Processing Services located in Jacksonville, Florida, P.O. Box 225, zip code 32205. I located a company by the name of Mediation Processing Services in Jacksonville, Florida and I called them to verify this company. What I noticed was, yes the company name was the same but the "logo" was similar but "not" the same. The person that I spoke with couldn't confirm this company location that has the same company name (Mediation Processing Services, Jacksonville, Florida). When I looked at the letter that was email to me, it was a "poor" business letter written very bad. As I continued to ask questions for documentation to be sent to me to verify, which they keep insisting that they couldn't provide. I'm sure my email address and name was due to doing online business. The person (John) asked where I worked and they would garnish my wages. After my research, yes I knew this was scam fraud, and I was loving it. So, I replied to the email and I copied to my employment email address (Atlanta Police Department). I also reported this via online to FTC. Yes, after the second call to them requesting again this documentation - they "blocked" my number. I must add, Mediation Processing Services at 904-579-3522 is a legitimate company in Florida. I contacted them yesterday to advise, that a company using the same name and also the name of one of their Clients (My cash Now) - if they get to some of your customers based on one of your actual Clients - customers may pay this scam fraud company, thinking they are paying the correct - Mediation Processing Services, Florida at 904-579-3522.

This person left a message on my telephone saying that they needed me to sign for a envelope from them sent UPS. They have my Social Security number and I need to respond ASAP.

The individual/s are very good at there skills of harassment..Wish they'd get caught and sent to Jail for perpetuation a crime.
