Can they take me to court?

Scam call. It's so annoying.

Called and gave info that a package was tried to be delivered at a address that I had moved from over 5 years ago. Company mediation.processing services was handling the civil suit against me for a payday loan I never took out. Said they would settle for almost half the amount by end of week or my wages would be garnished. Even gave a tax I.D. Number to say they were legit. Sent a e-mail with the name Sandy Haake and address bogus. Name of the caller was Sara Jones working for this company. Number she called from was 904-595-7491. and could check under sunbize.org tax I.d. 46-238-2358

I got a voicemail with the same scripting that everyone else is saying. They have my name and ssn on an important legal matter. Threatening me they will file with the state.

I just received the exact same call. Ignoring it.

Same as everyone else...”We have a package that contains information about your name and other things that has been returned to us for no signature.” Please call to verify your address and SS #. Nope!! They need to all get real jobs. They think we are all idiots!!!

I got a call from an actual person, not an automated system. When she left a voicemail, she left her name and ext. and asked for me by name. I called back yesterday, still waiting on response. She never asked or mentioned a social security number and said that they needed to verify my claim and that I had overpaid on a car loan from a few yrs ago. She claimed I sent in one extra payment. Actually incredibly possible bc at the time,I was pregnant with my youngest son and suffered from a terrible case of pregnancy brain. So, in other words, totally in the realm of possibility. But it's mediation services, her name is Megan Williams and the phone number is very similar, so I'm gonna go with this is a scam. But wondering if anyone got a call like mine from (904) 559-1226?

Jennifer called and told me I owe $990.00 for a defaulted cash loan I told her she had the wrong person she then told me someone stole my information making me responsible I told her foh I'm not paying anything and will contact my attorney, because this all seemed to be a scam to me, she told me it was legit and they were approved by the BBB. Still a scam....

A man called me today about a parcel dropped off at my house. The message was on my voicemail. He did not give me a name. I called back and a woman answered. The bill was from 2013. She told me my social security number and where I work. I told her the address was wrong since she gave me 2 different addresses. I also told her," I would not tell her anything else without my lawyer." She said," Payday loans sent them the bill for $300.00." She also said," I need to pay this dept as soon as possible." She said," The debt was being held under my social security number." She said," If I don't pay it; I will have to go to court and pay $900.00 because of interest build up." She ead getting frustrated with me. After 20 minutes a manager answered. His name was Victor Jordan. He said," His work hours are 3 to 7p.m. and if he is not their call between 3 and 8p.m. to reach another manager on duty."
