I just got a call. when i called back it said the ACS wireless line is no longer in service....strange for sure.
I wasn't around to take it, my phone showed "missed call". From what I have read, glad I wasn't here.
Got a call from this number the day after I added my phone number to an account I set up with PokerStars.com - I suspect the two are related. I didn't answer of course, but I should have known better than to add it to the account. I hate websites with no ethics. Oh well, I still like free online poker... good thing they don't have my credit card #.
Yup, I got the same basic call on my cell. Left a message with a greeting and then a hang up. Checked a few different sites and it's been happening all day all over the country. Never seen scams like this all over the place in such a short time. I've had the same cell number for about fours years. I know that a Spanish speaking person had this phone number before me and sometimes I still get random calls for them so I wonder if they're targeting numbers for a reason since we obviously all have several different carriers. Kinda funny from this side of things... good luck to em. LOL
They called my phone number that's in the 760 area code (Southern Cal.), which is unlisted. They hung up before I could pick up.
