These crooks called me this morning on the way to work, and when I answered, same as above: they hung up.This evening at 830p, I get a call from the same number (913-248-1105) from some lady saying that I am a finalist in a sweepstakes, grand prize of one million dollars. I evidently was 'entered into it' through a third party subscriber when I signed up to win a pize. I haven't done one of those idiotic links in years.This of course already sounded like BS. I asked for more information, was assured that I didn't need to buy anything. I asked for a website and she had to put me on HOLD to find out what it was. She provided the following:www.sweepsresults.com/millionWhen she started in on asking me questions, I told her that I wasn't in much of a trusting mood to provide personal information (what kind of credit cards do I like, etc). Supposedly, she will be calling me back.I quiver in anticipation.The site is bogus. It is just a page with smiling people standing in front of fancy houses, etc. There are no links. The domain alone (sans 'million') is a blank page.I called the above number back and got a voicemail for "Publishing Renewal Information" at 800-255-2557 (toll free line!) and an additional customer service line of 800-456-6565 (customer service). I will be calling back tomorrow and ripping into someone.Stay away, and remember, if it sounds too good to be true (You're about to win $1,000,000!!!), chances are, it is. Don't be a stat.

update: Millennium (look carefully at the exact spelling) Marketing seems to be involved with or affiliated with the following companies:PUBLISHER RENEWAL SERVICESMAGAZINE SOURCEBUDGET MARKETING INC (RUSTY RAHN)ACTIVE PERIODICALSThere are probably even more names involved with these deceptive telemarketing magazine scams.Be forewarned. Let everyone know about these guys.Check strange phone numbers first before answering your phoneFile Complaints with the BBB, FTC and Consumer RipOff Organizations if you feel harassed or contacted inappropriately by these guys. The BBB already has files on most of these companies.

My call (on my cell phone) from the 913-248-1105 # told me that I was entered in Publishers sweepstakes and that I was entered to win 1-millon dollars..all I had to do was answer a few questions, the first one being what "CREDIT CARD" I use the most...that first question threw up a flag to me and I told him that I was not interested...he got rude...so I just flat out told him that I did'nt want any part of it, then I hung up...with so many scams out there today..who do you believe ????

I have received calls from this number for the last two days. I think it is from a coupons ad I answered...big mistake. I just don't answer the call. Hopefully, they will give up.

I HAVE ALSO RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS #.I hadnt picked it up at the first time.. so he called me for the second time.. THAT GUY CALLED ME BY MY NAME...HE WAS TALKING ABOUT SOME MAGAZINES.. ALSO HE TOLD ME DO NOT CHEAT ANY MORE , BUT i didnt ...and when I asked him, what is he talking about , he just hunged up on me... that's the same story, I CALED HIM BACK .. TO FIND OUT WHAT'S GOING ON ... BUT IT'S A KIND OF "CUSTOMES SERVISES' HELP LINE.. THEY TOLD ME TO CALL 1-800 #...sure I DIDNT ... PS... HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT HE DIDNT CALL ME TO COLECT ANY MONEY,,, AND THAT I WAS SUPPOSE TO RECEIVE A MAGAZINE... HEY PEOPLE WHAT A HELL IS GOING ON...?...PLEASE ADVICE ME... WHAT SOULD I DO?

Got a call this morning from this number 913-248-1105 I didn't answer it I type the number into google.com and read everyones messages. I did get other calls from people that knew my name and telling me the last 4 numbers of my credit card they asked if I still have that Mastercard I told them yes and asked how they got my name and phone number and my Credit card number they said I order something of TV. They told me I won a million dollars I told them I didn't want it and I hung up on them. they called again the said hello Jeanine I have great news you just won a million Dollares do you still have the mastercard ending in this time I told them NO I cancelled the card because someone got a hold of my number They hung up on never got the call again
