Its worth answering this call. I had set up a payment to pay off my Mayors account as soon as i received the card. They had my checking account number wrong so it never went through. Answer the damn phone call and pay off your debt before it goes on your credit. If you are using credit and not paying stop being a bum. You borrow money, they want it back and youre mad at them? How dare they!

I'm having the same thing happening to me with the same 3 phone numbers, it's been going on for over a week. I have no debt. I have no idea on how to stop this. I'm going to call the police and see if they have any suggestions.

Please explain why they have now changed it from being able to make your payment up until 11:59pm on your due date to 5:30pm. And RJ for your information. My husband was active duty for ten years. 6.5 were in a special unit w a specialized skill set. When he got out he could not find work bc he either didn't have civilian experience or was way too qualified. It took him 4 months to find work then got laid off bc he was the last hired 3 months later a week after closing on our house. He just found a job this past January add in the govt canceling unemployment extensions. And then the army screwed up our insurance so we had to pay out of pocket for 2.5 months for mine which comes to $2512.32 and u are only reimbursed for the copay portion. So yes we are behind in almost everything but I send what I can. This company doesn't care. My husband deployed 2-3 times a year and there is truly jack for Vets when they get out depending on what your MOS was. Majority of companies said they participated in Helmets to Hardhats just for the tax breaks. So takes your holier than thou attitude and shove it. Bc if it weren't for my husband and thousands of other men and women protecting and fighting for this Nation you wouldn't even have the luxury of being able to be an #$$. I love how people automatically assume you ran up ur credit cards buying frivolous crap. When the truth is some of us used it for medicine, food on the table, gas in the car so my husband could go on interviews and oh my god yes clothes bc the man wore uniforms everyday. You can. Seek a FDCPA/TCPA attorney.File complaints on them. Also send them a cease & desist letter via US certified or return receipt mail.

First of all, I'm not a collector, but the federal DNC list is for telemarketers, not collectors. I agree on set time frames and amount of calls per day, but most collectors call centers are registered out of country and don't fall under FCC guidelines. It sucks, but the collectors know this, that's why they outsource collections.

I'm not sure why you seem to be proud to be a deadbeat. No where do you say that you don't owe the money. Every deadbeat like you just makes others pay a higher interest rate. Why don't you figure out a way to do something productive instead of deriving pleasure from refusing to pay your debt?
