The message said it was John from EScreen, but the voice sounded automated. Neither the number the call came from at 1 am nor the 866 number in the message dialed back out.
I recently took a drug test for a job, an they called me an told me that I tested positive. I asked what I had tested positive for an they told me cocaine. The funny thing about it is that I've never done cocaine a day in my life. So I found it real real hard to believe that I tested positive for that. But I was told if I sent 150$ they would retest it. 2nd thing I find funny is how they gone do a test on the same hair an get a different result. If it tested positive once as they claim, wouldn't it test positive again. I would think that if I had to pay to retest that they would send me to give another sample to be tested. Its just fishy to me.
I was told I tested positive for cocaine when I've never done cocaine not 1 day of my life. But if I send 150$ they will retest it.
It's a scam received call that the test was positive for cocaine, and I should pay $150 for retesting. Called the employer , and my . test results came in the day prior - negative.
I received a conditional offer from a new employer and one of the conditions was that I pass a drug screen. I caught on to their BS right away however I can see how people would fall right in their trap! Last week I went to Spectrum Health for my drug test. A Spectrum "Rep" called from this number, advising they have some questions regarding my results. First asked for the last for of my SSN. I laughed and said ABSOLUTELY NOT. They transferred me 4 times within a matter of 3 minutes. Always asking for my SSN to verify who I am. Never give this information over the phone people.
I used to work in HR. Drug tests for work are usually paid by the company. I believe if anyone is asking for your personal information on the phone, you are able to hang up on anyone. Or, you can let them know that you will double check with your HR Department. This caller sounds suspicious, so I am going to put him on my "Do Not Answer" List. (An option I LOVE at my work place!)
This is a total scam! They're phishing for you ss#! They got mine and then transferred me to "medical" where someone claiming to be the doctor listed on my screening receipt told me that I tested positive for marijuana use. After I told him that I don't smoke marijuana, he told me that their two part test doesn't lie, but I could pay $150 to have it sent to a different lab and retested. After heading to work and expecting to be walked out the door, I was told that my sample came back clean and that I needed to take immediate action to protect my identity. I don't know how they had most of my personal information including my name, doctor listed in the screening, or phone number, but DO NOT CALL them back. If these goons put as much effort into a real job as they do scamming people, they could do great things. Unfortunately, they'd rather steal your identity and deserve to be Bubba's boyfriend instead.
