Robert Daniels of Freight Quote left a voice message and asked us to call back 816-949-6691 weekdays 8 AM to Noon and 1 PM to 5 PM (CENTRAL TIME).Have to say he followed all the instructions we have on our telemarketer/junk line extension. ONE OF THE VERY FEW PEOPLE WHO FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS SINCE THE EXTENSION WAS SET UP!
got a call from this number, did not answer and I check for reverse number and it came from kansas, I don't recognize the number.
Calls are starting again. Called our office this AM, but hung up before navigating our IVR. Caller ID listed the number and "FREIGHT QUOTE". Called back again while I was typing this, and wanted to speak with the owner. Would not let me help him or take a message. Did not identify his company when I answered.
I answered with my company meeting as well as my name, and the person on the other line didn't even say it back correctly. He asked to speak with someone who is in charge of handling our freight shipping. I told him we don't do any freight shipments, that we're the main HQ for the company so we never receive anything in bulk. He said, "okay I'll contact them. have a great rest of your day" and hung up. like ... what? contact who? Typical sales call though.
They have now called 10 times this month -- and they were blocked after the first two calls. I guess they can't take a hint?
Called again today -- but they are hiding the company name on the caller ID -- just lists the number and "Out of Area". Their last 5 or 6 calls have been blocked, and they get the "...no longer in service" message, but they still call.
