Freightquote. They used to call all the time until I asked to be put on their Do Not Call list. Now they call every few days. It'll ring once and then the call ends.
Caller ID = "FREIGHTQUOTE." Guy asked for person in charge of shipping and receiving. I said this is a private residence, and we don't do shipping and receiving.
Their sales department left a message, i checked a few rates and got a call within minutes their quotes were high compared to some local companies I called.
Yes, it's FreightQuote, but they are operating in violation of applicable law, calling private numbers listed on the DNC list. That tells you all you need to know about their company, credibility, and legitimacy.

Nick called saying he was assigned our account... if so, he would have had a contact name. Tried several times to fast-talk me into divulging a name. No can do!!!!!!! Any company that practices these tactics is beneath me. Refuse to do business with them after tactics like that... shame on them for totally having sales people calling and lying to businesses.
i keep receiving calls from this number. I never answer and they never leave a message. I clearly have no shipping needs for anything. they always leave a message, but don't say anything...you can just hear talking in the background.
This is a legitimate freight broker company. I used them for a big shipment of books and they got the job done with no issues. They do call on occasion to see if I have any new business for them.
