Received a call for "the person in charge of shipping." When I said no one was in charge of shipping, the caller started asking questions. I asked him to put our number on his Do-Not-Contact list and he rudely hung up. Nothing but a waste of office time. Telemarketers SUCK!!!
I have used Freightquote for several years. We don't ship a lot but have found them to be very helpful in sorting through the different rates and options. In cases of lost or damaged items, they have been very helpful.
This is from freightquote.com. They are a legitimate shipping company that acts like a broker with many shipping companies. I use them for big motor freight shipments and they have the best rates that I have been able to find anywhere.
Freightquote. I asked for a quote online and they responded very quickly with helpful info and a great quote. Have never used them so I don't know how legit they are but it was a nice experience. I've added them to contacts so they don't show up again as just a number in Kansas.
called my office from "Freight Quote" asking to speak with someone who's in charge of freight shipments. I told him we don't do anything freight that we only use smaller stuff like envelopes and rarely any small boxes. He then asks, "so nothing coming in on palates?" i told him no we dont do ANYTHING freight. He said okay thanks and hung up. Cold callers are the worst.
Because they are relentless. You tell them to stop calling---they DON'T STOP!!! Same with TQL.
