Several calls to my cellphone from 916 278-2102. I let it go to VM since I know this is BS. Never a VM left from this number.

First call today and looked suspicious so I googled it. Looks like one of those scammers trying to get our information; be careful. 916 278-2102

I received two calls today from (916) 278-2102 today. I never answer unknown calls and I already blocked this number.

Also received a call from this number saying they were doing a survey on public health. Caller ID says Cal State University Sacramento. Wanted all kinds of information on health issues on me and not related to general questions. When I said I don't have time now, she wanted to call back. Most likely telemarketing criminals. Number BLOCKED!

Seemingly pleasant lady called from California in the USA. She seemed to be a bit slow on the uptake. She insisted on asking me many personal questions in a way that seems typical of most an Americans I have encounteredI chose not to answer her intrusive and personal questions.

This is a legitimate number. It is research conducted on behalf of the Center for disease control and prevention with assistance from the Dept of public health. If you want info go to the CDC website and click on the BRFSS link, you will see this has been conducted annually since the 1980's. CSUS conducts the research for this.

I hit ignore, and it went straight to voice mail and of course, they hang up. No message no call back.

Well James if you are associated with them at all then tell them they need to put that number out there that it's legit then, as in this day and age ain't no one gonna answer questions from someone who calls on the phone and asks personal medical questions. That number isn't on the CDC BFRSS website, and CSUS ain't mentioned either, so they deserved to be blocked.

Call received from California State University, Sacramento conducting a survey on health status. None of the questions divulged personally identifiable information and were all general health status information. It seemed very legitimate. The state does contract CSUS for these surveys and these calls are would NOT be eligible to be blocked in the Do Not Call registry. Those concerned with personal privacy can decline to take the survey. I'm a rather private person on the guard for phishing attempts and didn't have a problem with any of the questions.

I have received 30+ from this number. They called twice today; 11 times this week. My advice: block this number. Don't give ANY opinions or information to this number, or any other unverified number. As for this number, they won't stop calling. I finally figured out how to use ATT Call Block feature. Hope it works.
