CID "CHILDRENS CANCE", no message left

These calls previously used the number 916-246-0440. Now, the calls use 910-740-1723. I never answer, and, the calls drop as soon as the answering machine comes on, except for today. When the machine came on, a recorded voice announced this was a charity , and, no representative was available, but, I could call 877-241-8300 to make a donation. Then a live voice came on and asked for my wife by name. The call ended at that point.

Badly done IRS scam. Robocall.

I checked the charity website and they have a CONTACT REMOVAL PAGE..Now there is a clue. What charity needs a "remove me from your phone call" list. Likely its almost entirely a scam, they collect thru phone harassment shielding themselves from FTC rules because of the charity status...Then keeping the vast majority of the money while donating a few bucks to make it look good....Justa guess of course....

These people have the nerve to call at 9:00pm at night-does not even dignify an answer. Proof in the pudding that they are NOT legit is that they did not leave a message. Have received similar calls at similar hours from same organizaiton. Leads me to believe they are not legit. I

I am 1000.1% POSITIVE the caller has called our land line # UNDER ANOTHER Phone number.Caller ID read "CHILDRENS CANCER"Call come in on Jan, 12th 6:57PM Asking for my wif'e's FIRST NAME.I asked who is calling? They said VANESSA calling on behalf of the "Children's Cancer".I IMMEDIATELY said NOT INTERESTED, remove our number or you'll be hearing from our Attorney...NOW that I have gone here, I am LIVID!!!! PUCKING SCAMMERS!!!!I've been diagnosed with STAGE 4 CANCER (May 2013) and to read & hear these PUCKING SCAMMERS!!!!I will be contacting the FTC and BBB agencies, maybe this TIME they'll do something....

Just got a call from this number. CID said Childrens Cance(r). Never heard of this organization so did not pick up. No message left. Will block.

These scammers fake website indicated they do so much for children who have cancer like giving them wooden toys. From the information we have most all of the money collected goes to the scum telemarketers who do not care anything about children who have cancer or any other serious illness. Never give money for any cause over the phone.

Received call. Didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. caller id says "Children Canc" .... it gets truncated on my phone.
