I got the call also. There must be more to this than just a call...and you answer...and they use your information to attack your accounts. Don't over look the obvious. This is got to be simply an introductory effort to validate the fact that the number called is a current number. If you call back...your phone number is trapped by them...and with a current telephone number they can hack into all of your personal information, including active banking accounts. Dont be fooled, and just shrug this off. I changed all of my credit card companys and had new cards issued.
I just got a call from this number. I dont pick up numbers that I dont recognize and I dont know anyone who is in New York. I wont dare call the number back...NO WAY!
Just missed a call from this number too. I tried calling it back but no answer and the mailbox is full. I'm glad I saw this posting. Just blocked it.

Yep- got a call from this #, they left no message, and I got a busy signal when I returned the call..so tired of random 'companies' somehow acquiring my personal cell phone #...
This number keeps calling my 15 year old son's cell phone. I have tried to call it back also, but it rings like an incorrectly dialed number, like a very fast busy signal. If I can get ahold of them they WILL remove my number because it is on the "do not call" list.
They call me too, I have a cell phone in WA state, and I'm 16 years old and don't own a credit card. I stay on the line and have talked to a person once and they said I was removed from the list, then they just called again and i stayed on the phone to talk to someone, and when she answered, I was like "I'm 16 and dont have a credit card, I would like it if you stopped calling", and she HUNG UP!! Now when I call back I get the busy tone. IM PISSED
