Got a phone call regarding "my warranty is about to expire" (not true). I pressed one to speak to someone and a man answered. He asked for the make and model of my vehicle, and I told him I wasn't sure what vehicle he was calling about. I then asked how he got my unlisted number and he hung up on me.
I got a call from this no. and was the dead sound...no response on the other end. So i checked online and found the info...thanks guys.
We get these calls from time to time along with the ones from the Canadian number...appears to be the same scam. My cel gets the Canadian number at least once a month.But a question.......has anyone tried reporting this number to either your consumer editor at your local tv station or your state's Attorney General's Office for Consumer Affairs? Since these channels seem to have more resources than us peons I'm just curious to see if they can do anything or are even aware.

I got the exact same call, but on my work phone.They have tried calling many times and I usually just hang up. Today I pressed 1 and got somebody and I hung up.My suggestion is to not give them any information at all.It's a scam.
Called my cell phone, which is registered with the Do Not Call List, on Fri. 5/16 at 6:38pm. The male voice on the other end said this was a "second notice", and they'll close the file on something about my car's coverage if I don't respond.

called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
