got a call on Saturday, called back, it was line busy.Just got a call 30 min ago, called back, it was not a working number.Is there a way to stop the phone calls?
Once when I got the message... I hit the button to continue and then when a live person picked up I asked "Year, Make and Model of your car please?"... That and I have kept them on the phone giving BS info just to waste thier time...
They've been calling me for a few years now to tell me my car's warranty is about to expire. That's funny because my car is only a few months old and its warranty is good for 5 more years. And my previous car was 14 years old. Its warranty expired long ago. And the phone number apparently changes each time they call, so reporting an individual number won't do any good. Steve S

My girlfriend just purchased a used 2001 VW Bug. This evening, the number called, voice recording mentioning something about expiring warranty. Pressed one and then gave them the car information and her parents zip code. Told them that we weren't the decision makers for the vehicle and they should call her parents. Gave them her parents number, and then they transferred me to another individual. Spoke with him for a few moments. He was going to give me a number for the parents to call, but the line went blank. Hopefully this wasn't enough information for them to bother us in person.
I started to get snail-mail spam from a place that sounds an awful lot like this one, and not long after I got a car from Carmax. They recently called me, but I missed the call and they left no message. The company that spammed me also knew my car's make and model, and probably the mileage (since I recently bought it), and thus can make a fairly accurate prediction of when my warranty expires. It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
