It is very legal to charge interste on outstanding medical bills Most medical providers charge interest on the outstanding balances at each billing cycle. Our office did. Legally, you don't have to pay the interest. We waived the interest for a lot of patients who requested it. Works and Lentz is a law firm and collection agency. They are a physician's office or hospital's last resort for collection before they sue you in court. If you owe a doctor or hospital some money and don't pay it after their inside collection attempts, they turn your account over to Works and Lentz.

You can't be sued over medical bills. What are they going to do? Put you in prison for being unable to pay over $100,000.00 in medical? What a genius idea. 'They can't pay us so lets make them a burden of the state.' So smart.

It's more like they sue you and then your wages are garnished until the debt is paid off.

you have got to be an employee this is funny i work for the hospital i was sued by that were suppose to be taking the money out of my checks they said would start few months later low and behold i get a letter from WL about being sued wow well there goes my arrangments out the window since you keep saying basically pay your bill we are a good company ha we will work with you ha like the agreement i had to make payments to WL i answered the calls made the payments bam garnishments over a verbal agreement according to mrs susan Lentz made with me that i could not have a copy of by the way ha well here i am because i was so stupid to trust these embosouls with following through with their work(which is CRAP) i almost lost my home over did lose my car because i couldnt afford thier garnishments and a house, car, bill s, food your right mr Former collector they are a great company wtf ever i bet not one of them have ever had to struggle to put food on the table after as many people as they scam oh and the big funny thing is i had copies of final bill from hospital after in was $400.00 works and Lentz got me for 1500 oh ya thats just an awesome company doing their job so as you can see they are full of crap show up to court fight them back i know i am this time screw trying to work it out they lie

If they send you a letter on it, in that letter it states that you can dispute that you owe that bill and they have to go back to the medical provider and make sure that the balance is correct. If you want a medical bill ask the medical provider, that's what I've always done and it's worked....hopefully it will continue to.
