This is a state line that is used for inmates to make collect calls. As someone else said, inmates have no phone books or internet, so it is easy for them to mix up a number. Just hit the number to decline the call if you don't know anyone in prison. If you do, and the inmate's prison is in a different area code, it is still them on this number as the number is part of the phone system that the state allows inmates to use. So, this is not a scam, and not someone trying to get people's credit card info. It's not an inmate trying to call people that they don't know. If you don't know an inmate, its a simple wrong number.
Unknown who called. Caller said my first name followed by " it's me ". Didn't accept the call.
I received a call saying it was a collect call from a correctional center. Idk anyone. In jail or that county. I didn't. Accept
