Got a call. My number was lifted with my email from someone's contact list. Are those responsible for this phone spam using linkedin to do this? Is that a violation of linkedin's terms of service?
Got a call from this number. Pressed 1 and told the person on the end of the line that I was on the do not call list. She then immediately hung up on me. Five minutes later they called back again. I didn't pick up that time. Let's see if they keep calling me back all day!
Here's my suggestion. give them a fake name, keep them on the line as long as you can. Do not give them your credit card #. It Pi**es them off. and keep them busy from irritating others.
I get these calls every couple of weeks and don't answer them because I don't recognize the number.
There must be some way they are getting paid, maybe by the number of calls they dial. And if an answering machine or person they must get even more., because the fact that they only let it ring a couple of times, don't leave a message or hang up when we answer...it's their job (scumbags) so how are they getting paid ..
