This IS a scam! These people will promise to lower your interest rates on credit cards for a one time processing fee and they will not provide the services promised and use your information to try to open other accounts in your name. Take it from me these people will try to take you for everything they can. Do NOT believe what they say and report it everytime they call to prevent this from continuing to happen to yourself and others.
I am so sick and tired of these unwanted calls. My BF suggested a program for my smart phone called youmail you can pick what answering machine message you want a person to hear. For callers that are unwanted callers...I pick "this Verizon wireless number is no longer in service" It works every time. For calls that are "unknown" I told my phone to just hang up on them. I don't get bothered by anyone...just once in a while from these guys. www.youmail.comA visual voicemail that you don't have to pay for! Take that Verizon! Can even check messages online!
There bugging people on AT&T as well - same group they call from a different number about every two weeks or so- Service provider really didn’t seem to care to do anything about the problem.
It's still harassment if the calls never stop and you want them to. It's illegal to call someone on the DNC list as well if they are telemarketing.
Called with no message. I don't know if this will help those who already posted, but if you have a smartphone, you can get Mr number, and get the free options, or reverse look up, also free, and they can't block numbers, including all numbers with a specific area code, all blocked numbers, all private numbers, all unknown callers, all 800 or 900. You can choose to send a message after each call as well. Pretty handy.
I too am on the no-call list...thx a##hole for calling me just when I got to sleep after working a midnight shift. Let me meet you in person.....

called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call
