anytime I get a call like this I play along telling them "oh I am so glad you called I have 10,000 on 3 cards with high interest...".I also like to talk REALLY slow. I also ask them to repeat themselves many times. after about 3 to 4 minutes (or 15 if I am feeling mean) I stop and say sort of off the phone " Officer is that enough time to trace this call?" then I say to the person on the phone " might as well call your family and tell them to get bail money together as the police will be there soon" I LOVE to hear the swearing before they hang up.
