I have had somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-20 calls and have never talked to anyone, nor has anyone left a message.

I received a call from this number today at 5:32 PST.

***I JUST HAD THE PLEASURE of telling "Patrick" (who I'm sure is well more than just a few blocks down the road from me) what I have been waiting to say for MONTHS!!! He first thanked me for being a valued customer of AT&T for over a year now (only b/c MCI ticked me off before there)and I INTERRUPED HIM TO INFORM HIM THAT AS OF TODAY I AM NO LONGER AN AT&T CUSTOMER BECAUSE THEY CALL MY HOME AND BUSINESS AND HARRASS ME DAILY ABOUT THE DAMN DSL SERVICE THEY ARE CONSTANTLY UPDATING. MY CABLE COMPANY IS NOW MY CARRIER, I HAVE FREE EVERYTHING (I only had local before for $45+/mo after surcharges & taxes)...and with the bundle on my cable bill, comes out $35 a month less!!! hahaha Eat that, AT&T. BTW, I'll be contacting your VP & every other corporate fat cat I can if you have one of those 5001 call centers dial my number again. I was asked to be removed, and he said OK! I'm FED UP with the numerous calls everyday from etech......everybody who receives those phonecalls from etech needs to "return the favor". I'm going to paste the etech contact info at the end of this post ( it's accurate as of 8.7.08...i just got off the phone with them after speaking my mind ) If you call the Front Desk : 936-633-9203 press "0" to get the live operator. If you call pennebaker you'll get his voice mail. But do it if you can. Caller ID says Etech. They say they are from AT&T. They call nearly everday.

I was getting calls too. I emailed a VP and told him to get me off the list. He cc'd me on an email with Mary Sommers - her email is mary.sommers@etechinc.com. She is the Compliance Officer and apparently takes her job very seriously.I suggest you email Mary directly and ask to be removed.

Etech Inc. is a fraud, If you get a call from Etech inc., Effective teleservices, Nacogdoces tx, Lufkin tx or a 936 are code, it is a scam.

Constantly called by these people - telemarketing frauds - can't get them to stop. Somebody stop them, please!!!

Etech gets names from AT&T/Bell South. Even though I'm on the state and federal no call solicitation lists they've been harassing me for weeks. They use bullying tactics to try to get me to change my dial-up internet to DSL lite. They insist I have to do this and I'll be charged for the modem. They never say they're telemarketers. I called BellSouth today and they admitted Etech got my name from them. They gave me the run around and directed my call to the harassing call unit to report Etech. If I hadn't found this site I wouldn't have known what was going on.

For the past week I've been getting one phone call a day from this number to my cell phone. Every time I answer they hang up.
