They’re trying to get credit card numbers. Phone numbers and websites are not linked to who they say they are. Claims to get info from Experian. When I told them I wanted to research to make sure it wasn’t a scam, caller told me “*** you”, “go *** yourself” and “suck a d***” before going silent and hanging up. Guess he answered my question. Called three times and left no message. The third time the name that came up on my phone was Authors Club president. I answered and the caller then said they were collecting on a debt, claimed they were recording the call. Scam.
