They just called asking to verify the employment of an employee I have never heard of. When told we do not just give out information to anyone who calls, that we require a signed release from the employee because we do not know who is on the other end of the phone, the caller bacame very nasty. He asked me for my name, instead of answering I asked him to repeat the name of the employee he was calling about, because I did not recognize it. He did not answer, instead told me I was acting very unprofessional. I told him, that he had called about this matter a few weeks prior, and he became nastier and denied it. Now all he was doing was asking me for my name. I hung up. Caller was:Atlas Recovery949-797-7120 phone

These guys are horribly rude and are hateful. I told them that the person they are looking for does not live here, yet the continue to call multiple times a day. When I tell them that person is not here, they hang up on me. I think I am going to report this company to the Attorney General of Texas. I don't know what else to do - it has been going on for months. One of the collectors even threatened me and I am not the person they are calling! They need to be stopped and it would be greatly appreciated if others would contact either their Attorney General or local news station. This type of harrassing calls was supposed to be curtailed when the "Do Not Call List" was put into action, correct? I subscribed and yet these calls continue. Isn't this illegal???

I have received two calls and when I did call back to see what they were about, he wasn't available. Not going to answer any more call.

I just got a call from them also. What a bunch of douches. I requested a fax # to send a cease and desist letter. They refused an hung up on me. I saved the transcripts from the call. I am forwarding the info and filing a complaint to the appropriate agencies.

I received a message from this number and was told to call back as soon as possible...before it's too late. Ummm...I just received 2 loans; one for a brand new car and one for a used (2010) vehicle. If it was almost too late I don't think the bank would have given me the loans. SCAM!!!

you guys are idiots to think that this company is a scam , if they have been in business since 2010 with complaints steaming all the way back to those dates there is no way they are a scam they would be shut down already how about try paying your bills opposed to trying to find ways and excuse to not pay your bill you dead beats

This has got to be a SCAM....these people are calling and leaving msgs for me at my mothers house saying for me to call ASAP regarding a check I cashed at a bank in my mothers city???? WTF??? Ya right, show me the video from the bank!!!! They didn't even leave the name of the business calling to collect the debt, just some guys named Brandon and Brian. I had to call the number to find out the name of the company was ATLAS RECOVERY, located in IRVING, CALIFORNIA?? Its a good thing I blocked my number before I called! LMAO!!!! WHAT A JOKE!

Nobody thinks they are affiliate with any company but atlas recoveries

I keep getting calls from Atlas Recoveries 949-797-7100 and also from a similar number (same company) 949-797-7177 asking for someone that I do not know. I am sick of getting these calls. They need to be stopped because this is harassment.
