These people called the other day and gave my mother in laws name, told me it was important she contact them immediately. I took the info, just I hunch I decided to check the internet. Realized it was a fraud, that was a week ago. Well he called back this morning, and I told him I knew the company was s fraud and a few choice words to boot. Well hats all it took for him to crack, LOL, he screamed "your a fraud , what did you do go on the internet and read the first thing you saw?" I said, "no I also reported you to the BBB, so don't ever try that [***] again!" Click!!!

Watch out for these freaks! They called me many times and left me messages "it is CRITICAL that we talke to you, TODAY' or "I need you to get in touch with me right away." They told me I have a 'pending lawsuit' and they are giving me a courtesy call. I called them back after getting the first voice mail and asked for "Mark" (who had left a message). The guy who answered the phone asked me "is this the phone number Mark called you from?" I don't know, I tell him, pass me to Mark. He then told me before he "could help me," he need to "verify some personal information." I was on the alert on the time and told him no, and he said "then I can't help you!" I go, I'm NOT asking for your help, you called me! Pass me to Mark or I hang up. He transferred me to Mark who asked me to do the same thing! After he refused to tell me what he does (if he is not a lawyer when I asked him), what his call was about, and after he transferred me back to the his "supervisor" (whose voice was the first guy who then said he was Mark's 'Administrator' ), I decided they were scam artists! In the end, I told him to follow the right procedures to notify me about any "pending lawsuit" (if there is one indeed). Does he know the right procedures? I certainly do! "Then Good Luck to you!" the guy told me and hang up.They went quiet for 4-5 days and starting calling again. I just blocked their calls. But they are still trying every few days. The calls came from Irvine and New Port Beach, and one from extension -7106. Watch out these ***H***!
Perhaps if you all would pay your bills you would not receive collection calls. As a licensed bill collector in Canada, I have never had any issues with collections because I am polite and respectful of individual circumstances that people fall upon hard times and may not be able to pay off their bills. I am caring and understanding, and I treat people with the same respect I would want to be treated if I was in their shoes. Debt is frustrating all on its own to manage and sometimes people lose jobs, get hurt in the work place, get divorced, or even some have mental health issues. There are a variety of reasons why people run into financial difficulties. Perhaps if the debt collector is understanding then people would start making payments on their accounts. I find being able to effectively communicate with the individuals whom I collect from goes a great way. I try to work out a solution that helps people. Unfortunately some of my colleagues are not nice while making collection calls and they take a very aggressive approach. I suggest to people who are dealing with a rude and mean collector is record the calls and forward it to the licensing body who licenses the collector. It is important that complaints are made in writing so these individuals lose their jobs. I hate it when I hear my coworkers be rude. I find you get more bees with honey then vinegar. Also I see a lot of posts of individuals who get frustrated with calls for the wrong individual. At times we are provided telephone numbers that may or may not be the person we are looking for. If you are polite to them when they call, ask the collector to please remove the number. Then after the call call the collection agency back and ensure that your number is taken off the list. Hope this post helps someone.
