Received a call on my cell pretty much like everyone else described....'left multiple messages not returned, call back TODAY.' This was obviously a wrong number call to someone else or a scam call. I called them back and left a message that they had the wrong person. We'll see what happens. Jerks!
Really that reply sounds like a reliable companies reply!! You were calling my 78 year old mother I call from my cell now they are calling my cell. Stupid on my part.
I received a call from this number last week and a call from them again today. Their voicemail states that "they have attempted to call me several times and it is imperative that I return their call or they will record it as refuse to respond". So, I called them back today to see what this was about and talke to Steve DeAngelo. He stated that I owed a debt from 2007 and he will recommend to sue me if I do not pay. I tried to get the original account info from him and told him that I would verify this debt but he stated that the call will just get routed back to them. He said that I must confirm that I will pay. I have no such debt and nothing is reported on my credit report. He told me that it wouldn't show up on my credit report because it was not a loan of money. I kept asking over and over for the accoutn info and he would not give it to me. He kept yelling at me and telling me I was being rude. Finally he yelled that he is marking my account as "recommend to sue" and hung up on me.I immediately looked them up on google and found numerous sites where there were pages and pages of complaints. I then called the FTC and BBB and reported them after reading all of these posts so thank you.
Atlas called, left a very rude message to call immediately, since they had been trying many times to reach me. First lie. Second lie would be a debt in collection (or would that be first)? At any rate, I called the number, intending to vent in person but got voice mail, so I had to settle for some second-hand venting, never quite as satisfying as doing so directly. Called and reported to FCC and BBB. And though I left instructions to place me on their "do not call list" I don't really expect that to be honored first time out of the gate. These types are scum-sucking scammers, counting on someone to cave in and pay up. DON'T DO IT!!! Report the low life's. If they call, have some fun with them...but you should shower after. Slime doesn't travel over phone lines, but washing will help you feel cleaner
Same here ...calls stating "must call today" ...thank the good lord above for giving someone the knowledge and ability to make the "DECLINE" call button on cell phones !!!!!!!!DECLINE. DECLINE. DECLINE
Numerous rude agents who insist on calling daily....I have told them they are calling for someone I do not know. They insist this is the number they have. I will have my police whistle handy and maybe after a few eardrum replacements....they will remove my number.
"This will stop" when you notify your callers that you wish them to stop. Giving away your phone number here on a web page they do not control doesn't get that done and has opened you up to more potential nuisance and scam calls. I have alerted Admin to redact your comment.
Steve DeAngelo called me a couple of times and once I told him that everything on the internet says they are frauds he became real hostile and eventually hung up on me. I continually asked for documention (which they said they would provide after I gave them my debt card information). This is ridiculous!!!!They will also call from 949-797-7121, 949-797-7120
1) Your response is unprofessional. 2) Your grammar is very poor.3) Your spelling is juvenile.
