Two companies are currently harrassing my daughter and everyone she has ever had contact with. The first one calls from an unlisted number and tells you to call the company at the number 1-855-865-6183. When I called the number, the person who answered only gave their first name, and they wouldn't tell me what company they were with or who they represented. When my daughter called she got the same response. This company has been harrassing my daughter and everyone she has ever known for months now. The second company calls from the number 1-714-922-9472 and says they are from Premium Receivables. When she calls, it is the same people and they wont tell her anything. We suspect a scam as her credit has been compromised. We have reported it and had her SS frozen. What can we do to stop these harrassing and annoying calls to everyone?

Hi I owe some credit cards. I received a call today from a man and two other females who refused to give me their name. They keeped yelling at me and some how knew I owed $ but all the rest of the info they said about me was wrong. at first I though YHWH were ligitamite because lik I said I kne I do owe $ but they keep harassing me and yelling at mr and said I owed 1,000 sumthing and need to be paid or they would take me to court and take my personals. I came on line and saw this posts same story same # the city is temecula I made a police report.

To: KLH - "These people called me about a debt i didn't know about because my husband used a card of mine after we got divorced. I told them the situation and they were very sympathetic and helped me settle it out for exactly what i owed and took off all of the interest for me."Funny, you paid a debt that your ex-husband created? If this was a legit person writing this post and not someone who likely works for this scam company, any normal person would go above and beyond necessary to prove the debt was incurred by their ex...there are ways to prove that, ya know? Therefore, making you NOT liable for the debt. Before you go calling others "deadbeats" maybe you should make sure you look more credible prior to posting run on sentences with numerous words misspelled. Just saying.....

This number keeps calling me, leaving menacing messages. I have no unpaid bills so I wish they would just stop calling me and leaving these messages.

I received a phone call from this company(A man) who left an extremely threatening message, stating "You need to call back today! Quit being a deadbeat". I immediately called back this number listed above and spoke to a woman named "Emily". She asked for my information, which I didn't provide and politely asked to be taken off of their phone registry. She stated that I have a debt that I needed to pay(Which turned out for some women I don't even know). I inquired how they got my number and was given this response: "Sir, you just need to pay this bill. We know that this is the right number". After researching this issue a bit, I contacted the FCC and reported this company threatening me via my phone number. What the FCC told me is that if you contact the company after the complaint is filed and provide them with the complaint number, it is illegal for them to contact you until the matter is resolved. I next looked on my credit report and there wasn't anything listed from this company. In short, I got a debt collector calling an old phone number who obviously was going to do whatever it wanted to collect money from anybody. Remember this company has to have a business liscene, and if it's proven legally that what they're doing constitutes threatening behavior, they're in violation of the law. If you receive a call from this firm, please do what I did, to ensure that this company and it's employees are held accountable for their actions!

I received the same sort of message from this number. They were very rude and demanding. When I called back they had the wrong name and SS number. I think they try to scare people into paying debts they don't owe. Is there anyone that I could report them too?bk in okc

Keep detailed notes( best to get a Google number, have them call that number, and enable the call recording, which will notify them they are being recorded when you press 4 on incoming calls, check with your state statutes to see if this is legal in your state). Then file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, the California Bar Association, your States Attorney General, and your local law enforcement if you have been threatened.Chances are when they realize they are being recorded they will hang up.
