I just received an email from "Kelly Rowland" also deaf...tee hee. The same phone #. Says his secretary will be sending a draft? His movers will pick up the tires...NOT! What can be done about this person?

now on craigslist he/she is going by wendy...still deaf though...but I am too...funny coincidence because in her original email she said she would love to call but couldnt cuz she is deaf, well i have a phone system for hairing impaired!It burns me up to see someone lie and say they have a disability to try and gain credibility!

that's funny, i got the same e-mail pertaining to a laptop i'm selling on craigslist. she said she'd pay me more than my asking price if I ship it. Asked for a USPS post number, etc. Also said she is deaf and to call that number! I responded that I only deal with people in person, in cash and to come get it and pay in cash... what you do with it after that I don't care... that or no deal... yeah, I'm sure its a scam... we get that alot.... especially if you're selling electronic products! Be careful! Only have people come in person to look at items when there's someone else home with you. - you never know who is coming to your home!good luck!

as long as thats all you gave them... never give anyone your bank acct. number! It's a scam... what deaf person would be having you call them? What kind of quack is that? If they try to contact you, be sure you have your local police nubmber handy to call if they harass you or show up on your doorstep. But, I doubt it because they can't walk here from Nigeria!

If you Google their number, you get this blog.... also that they are a number from Nigeria...! Someone should report them to the FBI as well. Bunch of crooks - preying on us folks trying to scrape some money together to survive... jeez!

Hi again... just to add: I also get many other like this response to whatever I'm selling... I think they must have some link-up or hook-up to craigslist for sale items and it responds automatically to our for sale ads... anyway, I also think whenver an e-mail ends with the gmail address, that that is a bogus kind of e-mail address. I never heard of 'gmail'.... how does one get that? looks like all scammers have that gmail address... Beware!

gmail is lajit if that is how you spell it. You can a gmail address for free from google but every time I put something on craigslist my mail box fills with junk. No more crigslist for me

Just got an email from "Larry" tolozolo100@gmail.com. Same story everyone has been saying...deaf, will have secretary mail draft, will have mover pick up items. Decided to google the phone number...Glad I did!!

I got the same email! Thank goodness I researched this guy before hand! What a jerk! I will report him to Craigs List too, but obviously that is not working because he is striking everywhere!!

Received same info as previous emails, he is sending check today, etc. Just another scam, too bad can't catch this guy. Goes under the name of Larry Moore
