The phone number is actually for Digital River, a credit card clearing house that handles online business for Norton/Symantec, TrendMicro, Microsoft, and many other large companies.The VISA database is in error about the website, and as of this date, refuses to correct their error. The Digital River contact is at www.myord.com, it is NOT www.myorg.com.
Just found at $29.99 charge PLUS a $1 charge from this company. While I did purchase Norton's online, I did not sign up for a anual renewel. THIS IS A SCAM. Anyone have any updated phone numbers on these guys? My bank is investigating as well.

I received a charge of $59.99 on my credit card. Luckily I went online to make an extra payment to my credit card or I may not have caught it. I called the 877 number immediately and a representative named Cheryl reversed the charges and took me off the auto renew program which purges my credit card from the system (I am told). I still am creeped out that they had it on file in the first place. She said it takes 6 days for the credit to show up. She gave me a confirmation number for the cancellation and hopefully this is the last I will have to deal with this.
Found a charge of $44.95 on my credit card - I've never ordered any virus control software or downloaded any software so I don't know how they got my information. The charge on my card says Dr*trend Micro 952-908-4089Mn. I've contacted my credit card company, contacted our attorney general and the Consumer Protection Agency. I tried calling the number but was on hold for 20 minutes and finally hung up. I will try again later but don't hold much hope after reading other posts.
I just noticed the same charge on my credit card as well. Fortunately, my bank (USAA) is really good about this. They'll reimburse me for the money and ship out new cards right away when I call tomorrow.
