called about auto warranty. Spoke to stephanie. When I asked what car, she hung up. Too bad, I really wanted to have some fun with these people.
I'm amazed by the folks on here that protest "but I'm on the do not call list" For heavens sakes, the people calling you are criminals attempting (and in many cases succeeding) to steal your credit card information. Do you honestly think the DNC list ever even enters their criminal minds? Its a bit like complaining about the bank robber not obeying the traffic laws while fleeing the bank. I personally have a great deal of fun with these folks. When I see their call come in I trip over myself getting to the phone. My record is keeping them on the phone for 45 minutes before telling them what low life pieces of scum I think they are. I get them so pissed at me they don't want to hang up..they have so much invested in our 'conversation' they just can't seem to deal with the fact their scam just blew up in their face. My advice to you is to either get a blow horn like the other guy on here and give them a little toot or find a nice relaxing place to sit and have some real fun with these scum bags. Face it, ain't nobody going to deal with these creeps for us, we might as well give it right back to them.
These people from Ft Lauderdale call nearly everyday about lowering my interest rates & I'm getting aggravated with their damn nonsense.
To our vaunted government out there to protect us: This scam company has repeatedly called me day and night despite my "do not call" status. How about puling some of our troops out of that quagnire in Iraq (and many other places around the world) have them do battle with these sleazebags here in the USA?
I did not answer the phone, but figured it was a telemarketer. My number is on the do not call list. This company should NOT be bothering me. Telemarketing has got to be one of the lowest jobs. I wish they would all jump off bridges and die!
At least once a month, but sometimes more, they call. It is always the same. Sometimes when you push either #1 or #9 to get a LIVE operator, you think you are going to be so clever and try to trick them into telling you more about who they are, where they are and how in the world they got MY info. I hope they are reading this, because I have contacted the Attorney Generals office and turned their phone number in and also the BBB in Kentucky and nationaly. I'm sure there are other jobs these "professional credit counselors" can find, maybe stealing more from the elderly !
This number has called once per day M-F the last two weeks, and has been dialed via a computerized system. A computerized message plays, which did record on my voicemail since my voicemail spoofs telemarketers by starting out with "hello?... ". The same message played when I picked up live last night, saying my auto's warranty was about to expire (it's not, it's already expired by 6+ months) and to push "1" for a live operator. I did, and informed the man who picked up that I want my name removed from their database, that they are violating the Federal Do Not Call list. He actually then tried to find out my auto make/year to sell me a warranty! I said "again, you violating the Federal Do Not Call list, I want my name removed." He tried AGAIN to sell me a warranty! I informed him a third time of the violation, and the fine involved, and he finally agreed to remove my number from their database, reading it back to me to ensure he had the proper number. I am now reporting them in all available forums and to the appropriate authorities in charge of the Do Not Call list.
