The cardholder services [***] again. I love how the mafia telephone company won't give up who these [***] are. They damn well KNOW who they are.
I have had calls from this scammer before. Interesting that I can reduce my interest rate, considering I don't even HAVE a credit card! I usually get hung up by the time I say don't have...
called it back it says disconnected, they told me congradulations press 1 for a free medical alert system from the government
2 calls in a row, also glad I didn't answer.I'd had a run from them on our landline, and after asking to be taken off their list was told, and I quote, "That isn't going to happen." So sometimes when we screen calls and I hear their spiel on the message I pick up and wait to talk to someone and and tell them evil things like "I hope you drive into a bridge abutment on the way home" or "I hope your mom gets (insert awful disease here, preferably an std)". My theory is to make their "job" as unpleasant as possible. After all I'd given them enough chances to stop calling.
This time it was a free medical alert system. I pressed 1, told her I'm 35 and don't need one. She said it's for any emergency so I said that's what a cell phone is for and to take me off the list. She said, OK, since you wasted my time, I'm going to put your number back in and you're going to get more calls! #*@+!
I've have had many calls from this number and saved the number so I would know it was a telemarketer. Today I answered to see if I could find out who was calling. I listened to a recording that said, if you want a free medical alert and also receive $1,000.00 in coupons to use anywhere Press 1. Press 2 to be removed from our list. I pressed 1 and got a live person, however I couldn't understand her very well and when I said what? She disconnected the call.
When this number came up there was an man with an accent from India saying he was from Capital one wanting to lower my interest rates on my cards. I was stupid and kinda believed him and proceeded to give him my full credit card numbers and expiration dates. After what seemed like 45 minutes he then starts commenting provocatively about my lips...etc and said he just scammed me and was going to to go charge on all my cards.....DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCAMMMMMMM
