Did received calls and emails from this company. I think they are keeping info from internet site were I did leave my resume.
what the heck has the world come too...... you used to be able to pick up a newspaper and find a job!!!!!!!!! now we have to sift through all the bull just to find a real one!!!!!!!!!!!! like i have time to waste!!!!!!!!!!!! i NEED A JOB NOT SOME DUMB MACHINE CALLING ME AND ASKING FOR MY ZIP CODE WHICH BY THE WAY THE MACHINE KEEPS TELLING ME IT IS NOT A VALID ZIP CODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEP I WAS ON CAREERBUILDER ALL WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been so desperate for a job. I pressed 1 and they said the call volume was high and "transferred me" to an address in St. Charles, IL and then actually left my name with the automated system...but did not leave a message. Goodness I hope that doesn't come back to bite my in the rear end. I'm thinking if anyone gets a call from 972-200-9825, just ignore it or hang up if you answer it. Please!!! Everyone be safe. :) I'LL be calling or emailing CareerBuilder.com and informing them of this potential scam. Hopefully that can save everyone or anyone from financial disaster.
missed the same number around 6.10pm and luckily to check up first up here b4 calling back~ same on the job market who just put on my resume on careerbuilder.com!
I just got the call too and was suspicious but stayed on the line because it only asked me for my zip code (which isn't a secret). I left a message explaining that i hadn't called them but that I had been called and left my phone number (which they obviously already have).
I just got the same message ten minutes ago(2/03/2011). I gave my name but thats it.I hope nothing comes out of that.
Fortunately, I was eating dinner when this call came in. The fact that the message was automated tipped me off to it being phony. Obviously it is a scam hatched by people who don't care that many people in this country are unemployed or underemployed. A real offer of a job would be specific, and the person would identify themselves, their company, the position being offered, etc. I had no intent to phone them back, but out of curiosity I checked here. I'm writing CareerBuilder tomorrow to report this problem, as it seems most of the comments reference them. Thanks for the heads up about this scam!
