Received an automated message from this number on 6/21 at 6:00 pm CST. Like everyone else, it said that they had received my resume and felt that my skills qualified me for a job. It asked me to press 1 if I was interested in speaking with a recruiter. I pressed 1 and the call disconnected.I have been using monster.com for over 10 years and NEVER had issues with spam emails or bogus calls and my resume is available for view by companies with contact information available. I just set up a careerbuilders account last night and received the call this morning. There is currently 32 pages dating back to 2010 and the first 5 pages were people with new accounts with careerbuilders.com. I honestly think that there is enough to say, yeah...it's tied to careerbuilders.
I just applied thru careerbuilder for a job a few days ago. My call today fits the description above. As long as it is not a scam and just someone trying to give me commission only job. It made no sense they did not gived the name of the company. I feel so STUPID
Got a call from 972-200-9825-asked me to push 1 and every one was busy-put in a zip-code and leave a message. This does not sound right! I plan to report this to my local prosecutors office!
Thank you for posting this information ... I too just received the call at 5:35 PST ... thought it was strange and googled the number. The message they left on my phone was to call 888-673-4109.
My kids got this message and I tired to call it back. It gave me an answering message that said it was in Little Rock.
I received this call tonite and waited for a rep - though I figured it was a scam. Then it told me no operators were available and please leave a message. Leave a message??? YOU called ME!!! What is so sad is that any time you apply for anything online, you get scammers calling and emailing. Or the application from a listed job really takes you to a college application and there is no job. I'm working on a PH.D. so I don't need college, I need a job. I have my resume listed as confidential so that only jobs I apply to can see it but I still get spammed by scammers.
Said they received my resume' and want to schedule an interview for later on this week. I actually called the number it gave me (888-673-4109) and all I got was an automated message.
I recieved a call from 972-200-9825 w/ no ID and no message on my cell phone. Found this site when I googled the number. :(
I received the same call yesterday around 6pm. I called back and I was put on hold for a few mins and a lady name Susan came on and said she would like to schedule me for an interview next Wednesday at 11am. She did not say the company name or the position in which I will be interviewed for. I am currently looking for a job but the whole thing seemed weird so I decided to look up the number. She gave me the address of where the interview will be held and told me that she is my region recruiter. Should I go to this interview???
Just recieved this same call an hour ago. Like others it was disconnected when I hit 1, called back and was directed to give my zip code for nearest branch which was toledo. All operators were busy so I left a voicemail. Googled the # and found this site. I had just applied for a position with Delta airlines earlier this afternoon so the call got my hopes up being that 972 is a dallas area code. People responsible for shady calls like this should be caught and fined to the point where they end up living in a box.
