same deal, I apparently won a trip to Cancun... check to see where the call was coming from, hung up!! They called my work cell #, wierd cause it is not a number that I ever give out
Just received a call from number, texas number didn't answer either, must be some sort of scam.
Just got a call from this number but did'nt answer. Tried to call it back and it's disconnected or does'nt except calls. Only thing I can think of was that I bought something on the net a few days ago and it seems even when it's a very legit company I get emails and calls from telemarketers after I buy something. They are obviously giving our numbers out when we do things online. That's annoying!!
Got a call on my cell from this number. Offering a "Free" trip that I had "won" and they claimed they got my number from a recent purchase. Uh-huh. Sure.I pressed '1' to get the live drone, and told it, not too politely, *never* to call my number again.It's most likely a phishing scam being run by criminals where they want to get your credit card number and other personal info so they can steal from you.
did not get to the phone..no message...hit *69 came up with 979-446-0366 after one ring heard a click and then nothing....and to think I pay the phone company not to get this type of calls
I enjoy when people say "Someone should call the cops" but don't do it themselves. You have got to help yourselves people. Just log onto phonebusters and report it. Local police can not assist if the phone number is foreign. Phonebusters is a collaborative effort with many police organizations created specifically for this type of issue.
i just got a call and i am in Saskatchewan... it's cold and Cancun sounds nice but it's a scam... i do not give this number out so i am guessing it's an auto dialer.
