yea, also got a missed call from them, in Ontario, Canada, June 10th at 4:10 pm.glad i found this post, now i know not to pick up when they call.
Just got called on my cell in London, Ontario. Didn't answer, glad I didn't. I heard telemarketing laws have changed in Canada to allow marketers to call cells, a travesty if I do say so myself!
These types of call are phishing calls. They mainly want your credit card numbers or personal information. A legitimate buisness or bank will never be pushy to get your personal information. Many people everyday are scammed into thinking they won something. So they give out their card numbers and the sad news is these people have to pay back what these scammers racked up on thier credit cards. Best advice, #1 Tell them you'll call them back #2 Always do your own research on the legitimacy of a buisness before giving them your personal information. AND #3 Never ever give your credit card numbers, the 3 numbers on the back of your card, expiration date, your date of birth or your mothers maiden name on an incoming call!

This is a SCAM-Goes to voice mail and asks you to leave your SSN. The social security admin will never ask you to leave your SSN on a voice mail. Letter looks very official, but it's not.
