Same as above. As soon as he said he was with Windows I knew it was a scam. My son works as a tech at our Microsoft store and has had numerous customers inquire about calls like this. He always tells them that Microsoft would never call them out of the blue with fixes when they don't report problems.

985 564 0064 —caller with an Indian accent wanting access to my computer for "Windows security." Nice try, Apu.

Received a call today...did not answer....called stayed on and kept saying my name and can you hear me, are you there? Glad I didn't pick it up. This has been happening for a while now...at least 2 weeks. Last week's message was a whole lot of discussions in the back ground that I could not understand...heavy accents and not English speaking.

Just received a call from these people. He had an India or Arab accent and wanted to instruct me how to solve these harmful messages. I listened for a moment and could hear lots of voices in the background. I told him I thought he was SPAM and then I hung up. Isn't it sad that we can no longer trust anyone on the phone???!!!

They called my house and told me there was an error on my computer and he would tell me how to fix it. They had called me about 2 years before and I did everything he told me too and then had to get everything out of my computer and change all passwords. This time I went along with him and when he said I will tell you what you need to do I said to him can I tell you what to do and he said yes. So I told him he should go out and get a real job and he said, So you think I am a scammer and I said No, but you are a scammer! He said no, you can look up our company, then I told him where to go! They call my house a couple of times a week!

Yesterday I hit the Jackpot with 10 Scam calls (2 times on 3 of them!) NOW? I got Naperville tgis AM, NOW, on3/26/14 @ 2:13 PM CT on the SAME Landline, Here comes this # which I KNOW is a B.S. $cammer so I click clicked the phone & did'nt even bother! So glad everyone else found out what a !@#$ this dud is. UGH

Got the call March 24 at 7:30pm. Could hear background noise kind of like a call center but no one responded after I said hello twice. I immediately hung up.

This is the ubiquitous "there is something wrong with your computer" scam. I told the gentlemen that and said "I get to report the number" (which i did via the ftc's do not call complaint site) then he called me crazy. haha

Asked for me by name using a very heavy foreign accent, when I said "Yes" they hung up.
