If I do not recognize the caller, I don't answer. Once a day I check through my list of "missed calls" and check them out on this website. If they are SPAM I store them in my contacts list as such and set the ringer to "no ring" I can fit 5 numbers on each contact (Spam A, Spam B, Spam C, etc...so far I have 70!) It takes me less than a minute per call to enter them, and it is so monumentally satisfying each morning to check out all the of Spammers that didn't get through to me the day before. They sure never give up!

They called and got my voicemail but did not know it was voicemail. A lady polite asked to speak to me, said my whole name correctly, then disconnected when no one responded. Covington, LA says the caller ID. No idea who they are.

When you answer the call it tells the robo machine that it has called a valid number. You WILL be called again. No such thing as "out of rotation" THE DO NOT CALL LIST IS A WASTE OF TIME. The list must be PURCHASED from each state and the federal gov. It changes daily. Reporting these robo calls just falls on deaf ears. Washington has better thiings to do luke going on dates, vacations in Haweaii, etc. Blocking also does not work as their computers have 1--'s pf thousands of numbers and real "legit" organizations don't play these games. You will get calls from "MArch of Dimes, American Heart Assn., American Diabetes Assn, You Just won a security system, crime os on the increase in your neighborhood, etc. YOU CALL the people you want to donate to or contact. NEVER GIVE ANY INFO OVER THE PHONE. BANKS DON'T CALL FOR INFO.

I've found a new way to deal with these calls - seems to be working. I hate listening to my phone ring 4 times and then the answering machine go through its routine, only to hear a stupid message left about a great rate on a credit card I don't have. So, now, I answer the phone and I just don't say anything, don't make any sound. The machine on the other end can't figure it out and it hangs up. I don't notice that number calling again. It's worth a shot! Just pick up the phone and don't make a sound. Make sure your TV or radio is not on in the background. The computer will move on to the next number and hopefully, leave you alone. ;-)

They keep calling my mother who has died. But they hang up before I can tell them to stop calling.... they must be huge scammers

Just got a call from this number, didn't pick it up but checked for a message since I didn't recognize the number, whoever it was, they didn't realize they were talking to my answering machine and asked for me by name so I don't think its not a random thing, she hung up without leaving a name or message.

Dirtbag spammer. Number now blocked.

Caller ID says "unknown name". Left no message.

Received a call from them this morning. When answered, there was no active recording, though it sounded like one was trying to play. Eventually, I just hung up.

Called and left a few seconds of silence on the voicemail. Another scam.
