Why is this number calling me four times a day

A guy with a broken English called me offering some savings on long distance calls through SEARS. I told him that I am not interested at all. He also inquired as to what my local landline provider is. This guy did know my last name...

This call came to me and said it was from yellow pages.The call center said they were renewing our business of our church listing.They quoted me $495. charge for 2 years.They asked over and over for more types of info.i refused.They transfered call to manager who dicided to confirm all info.This person was american accent.This person hung up and called back from restricted #.This person read back all info and again asked for more info.I refused.This person quoted back the price of the original caller.I said I don't have record of paying such an amount for listings.so I refused.She then said she would cancel the requestThis was around 11:15 central monday( yesterday)the funny thing is; I have recieved from the same #, 7 callsand when I try to return the call, a recording says that this is not a working #.

Got a call from 987 654-3210 and didn't answer it as I didn't recognize the number. No voice massage left. I treid calling it and Verizon answered saying that the number wasn't good. Mine had a + sign in front of it which makes me suspect it was an international phone number. I've seen this before with incoming international numbers.

I get 2-3 calls a day from this number, it is always a recorded message and it for the same person, a Donna Strong I haven't a clue to who this person is and when I try to call the number back, to tell them just that it, I get a recording saying that isn't a working number.

This number calls every 20 minutes starting at 8am. I finally answered and they asked for my husband. When I asked them who was calling, they started offering me all sorts of handicap supplies even though no one is handicapped in my house and I kept telling the man with the heavy accent that! It is not necessary to call every 20 minutes to see if anyone wants to buy a cane or wheelchair-period!

SCAM!!!! NOT A REAL BUSINESS.. NOT YELLOW PAGES!!!PEOPLE TRYING TO PHISH FOR YOUR PERSONAL INFO...they use different numbers/names to spoof "trick" the caller id. They use different business names/services trying to sell you. Do not answer or talk to these people.

Probably some bored teen(s) in Cozumel,Islas Mujeres,Leon which is the 987 area code or s/he's a local messing with our digital world, or maybe it's an electronics class(ified) project. As noted in an earlier post here, the number is spoofed (Caller ID spoofing is the practice of causing the telephone network to display a number on the recipient's Caller ID display that is not that of the actual originating station. Backwards it reads 0123456789.)

Just hung up as soon as I picked up
