Received call from this number, caller informed me my at&t bill would be less next month due to deregulation from fcc!? His words not mine. it's a scam!

I have been getting these for the last four days-- 5 times a day. I tried to call it back all it said was the number you have dialed in incorrect. They left a message about 10 mins ago. It sounded like a lot of back ground noise and someone coughed and said something I couldn't understand- then nothing and thats when i called back

Scammers!!! They tried asking for my dad who has been deceased for over 2 years. Strong Indian accent. Called twice today. Irritating. They hang up immediately if they know you are on to them. I tried calling the number back and it says it is no longer in service.

try get personal information. I said you do not know me and how did you get my number. The person then hung up on me

The latest on this number is that they are using it to run a computer scam!!!! No company name used.

Got a call from 987-654-3210. He asked to speak to the office manager. I asked who was calling and he said Ruddy from yellow pages, wanting to confirm our listing. Then he read our business name, address and phone number very fast. I asked again who this was and he said yellow pages. I asked to have him fax the information so we can approve it and he said he couldn't do that (I could hear a lot of people in the back-ground) and then I hung up. When I dialed the number back I got a recorded message saying it wasn't necessary to dial a "1" and the area code. Hmmmm

Says he's calling to inform me my at&t bill will be less $$ next month due to deregulation from the fcc. Wanted me to verify the number of lines I have (Note: This is a business) I informed him that he should have that information if he was in fact calling me from at&t (as he so stated). But he needed me to verify so that he knew he was talking to someone with authority for our phone lines. He hung up on me.AT&T would never ask these types of questions. This is a SCAM!!!

Two calls from this # since yesterday, and a voicemail of a woman coughing and hanging up. I make a habit of ignoring unknown numbers- if I didn't give you my # you have no business calling me. Repeat unknown numbers get blocked. This # will be blocked as soon as I exit this screen. I have no tolerance for unwelcome calls.

I had the same type of conversation with these people claiming to save me on our business Century Link bill, saying they bought out Century Link and would save me $84 a month - everything they said shot up red flags! Called Century Link and said it was untrue and that 3rd parties try getting you to switch but do it in a way that you do not even know you are switching companies and in the end they will charge fee after fee and create a huge issue to try sorting out!

Trying to access my computer telling me there is a problem with my server. Have rang 3 times today. Just grabbed a whistle & blew as hard as I could down the phone hopefully they get the message!!
