Someone claimed to be calling from optimum cable company regarding my bill -- was yelling at me, said I was 2 months behind in my bill which I am not - I asked for a supervisor he stated he was, I asked his name and he hung up on me -- I called optimum and they advised they did not call me and the only number who would call regarding my bill would generate from a 516 number -- DO NOT ANSWER A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER
I HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ALMOST EVERY DAY AT LEAST ONCE A DAY. I NEVER ANSWER IT. I TRIED TO FIND THE AREA CODE IN THE PHONE BOOK AND IT'S NOT THERE.
Yeah, these B's just call and hang up when ever I answer, I barely get a hello in. Most of the time I answer and hang up right away, or it goes to voicemail - no messages left. Shows up on caller ID as unknown. Annoying.
Got a call on my business line. They claim to be Verizon Winback offering you a deal to move your phone and internet back to verizon.
It was a wrong number, there was a long pause after I said hello they asked for Vicki. I didn't get any other info.
Got this call from "Diabities Assoc", supposedly, WOMAN COULD BARELY AND I MEAN BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH, SO I HUNG UP. She wanted to know about my diabities and where I get my supplies and other stuff, but I just hung up.
Just received call from that number ....second time ...trying to tell me my computer was not working properly and needed repair... I told him We do not have a computer and do not call again and that I was recording him ...he said that our call was bring recorded to sound legit.
I just got a call from this number and decided to answer but said nothing and all I heard was someone in a very bored, female voice ask "Hello, I need to speak with the person in charge of the AT&T account. I smell a scam as AT&T would ask for the person by name for one and they never call to sell one of their customers that. This is the third time this week, and twice today alone. I really wish they'd get a job that doesnt involve annoying people who are trying to work! SMH!!!
