phone rang I answered nobody there...........

I received a call from this number (at my office) asking if I am the decision maker for our AT&T account. When I informed her I was, she stated my bill was going to get lower next month. I baited her and asked how, and she told me that AT&T partners with Telplex to lower the phone bill. She then asked me how many lines we had, to which I replied, "May I please have your phone number?" and she quickly told me she would call me back in a few days. A classic case of "slamming" and scamming.

Bored telemarketer for collection outfit inputs this series of digits into their software that spoofs whatever number to your caller IDIt's dumb because it's no more likely to get someone who has caller ID to pick up the phone if they're catastrophically late on debts and knows itI could get work as a collections troll, myself, but, that would seem so dishonest since, although I know there is a reason (and I'm part of it) why such businesses exist and they have to employ (the people who have no other damn skills), I am on the receiving end of a raft of this s**t, right now.

The caller identified himself as Silver Star or Silverstar, offering estimates on home improvement in my neighborhood.I asked for the company's name, address & phone number. He gave me a name and an address in my city, only he mispronounced the name of the city. When I called him on that, he said he just moved here. When I asked him again for the phone number, he asked why I was asking, and I said to make a "Do not call" complaint. He said, "Oh good. I'm glad I gave you the wrong information."At that point, I hung up.

This number rings at least 4 times a day. This is a business and its annoying when you have a customer and you get this call. #1 I don't answer an invalid number on my caller id. This needs to stop.

Called me today saying there my internet provider. They want to change my Modem, I don't have a modem with that provider. I hung up with the guy. He knows the name on internet account (husband) however he said he was from another provider. RIP OFF for sure, number just says unknown and the number.

Just got the same thing. Nobody there when I answered.

a man called me by my last name and named my street and unit number. He said he was from Silver Star. I asked what the call was regarding and he hung up.HOW ANNOYING.
