It been a whole week since this blocked number has called. It been going on for months which is unusual, but this area code doesn't exist and the caller is from overseas which may explain it.

We received a call from this number and he said his name was Brett and wanted to update our white pages as Y in yellow, made no sence at all. I asked him to give me his number so I could call him back and he hung up.

Folks, look at the number:987-654-3210?? now look at it backwards- 0123-456-789...

Just got a call wanting to talk to person in charge of at&t account. Told the man, "this is she and you can go f*** yourself,," then hung up. The jack [***] had the nerve to try and call back twice after I hung up. I ignored call both times. Guess the jerk didn't like what I said. Oh well don't call again and you won't be told off. Haha felt so good!

I too have recently enrolled in a Masters degree program and got the same spiel regarding my "application for gov't grants" but claimed to be from the US Department of Grants (too funny since no such federal "department" exists)

Blocked caller tries again.

This number was spoofed for a telemarketer call. They call asking about your yellow pages ad or if you would like to have one. I had similar calls in recent years which seemed to have resulted in junk mail solicitations for yellow page listings in several phone directories. Here's how it seems to work for them: they get your money for the ad in the directory along with other businesses, and then they drop the directories on all doorsteps of a given area. This is a legitimate business, BUT they are deceptive in several ways: they are telemarketers, which they deny, and when the bill (which says in tiny print that it is not a bill) comes without your approval or knowledge of it coming, they decieve enough businesses into paying for their book with thier advertising. The business does get an ad, but they pay too much, and are manipulated or fooled into it. NOTE: Your local phone company will also have a phone directory. If you would like ads in "The Yellow Pages" call them to find out who manages their ads and how to get a special ad. YOU WILL HAVE A LISTING ANYWAY in the real yellow pages, as long as you have a number listed with your phone company!! Do not let these people decieve you into believing you will not be listed unless you give them money for thier book!They are just spoofing the number, this does not mean that everyone spoofing this number is from this company. If you notice it is all digits backward 9876543210, a common caller ID spoof.Concerned business owner

I recieved a call from this number and if you type it into 411.com it comes up David Brett from Las Vegas, NV. I dont think its true but oh well. They only called once course I am nowhere near nice to those people.

I get these calls sometimes 3 times a day,very irratating when your with a customer.sometimes no one there!
