Got a call asking for my husband by his name. I replied he wasn't here if I could take a message, and then I was hung up on. (?)
Calls from this number daily @ my work, when Ianswer, there is a LONG PAUSE, then they hang up.Pretty sure it is telemarketer or a scam.
A few years ago my mother, ailing from Alzheimer's, was scammed by a caller selling magazines. This number continues to call my elderly father regarding payment to "lower the rate." Because my father had difficulty understanding the male caller, I took the phone call. The fraudster asked for my father's credit card number to verify payment. When I asked for a number in order to call him back with that information the fraudster became extremely belligerent. He claimed to be from TV Guide, a magazine my father does not receive.
just answer and talk like a crazy person, they will hang up. Might as well if they call they will get crazy talk
Called and said "We'd like to speak to whoever handles your AT&T account". I simply told her we don't have AT&T here (we do, lol) and she hung up.
